COMPARE ADVENTURES: This adventure is identical to the Arctic Circle Aurora Fly/Drive Adventure Southbound EXCEPT, this one does NOT include the Homestead Aurora.  At approximately 11:00 PM as you are returning to Fairbanks the tour will stop at the Arctic Circle Trading Post, those on the Arctic Circle Aurora Fly/Drive will depart the tour and meet a new guide who will stay out later and longer with them to look for the Aurora.  Those on the Arctic Circle Fall Fly/Drive Adventure Southbound will continue back to Fairbanks.

It is important to know the Arctic Circle Fall Fly/Drive is NOT an Aurora Adventure.  It will not make intentional stops to wait, watch, and see if the lights will come out nor does it stay out during the peak activity time of the Aurora.  If the lights are out during the tour and the guide has a safe place to stop off the road they will; however, it is important to understand the intent of the Fall Fly/Drive is not to wait out and look for the Aurora. If you wish to increase your chances you may want to take a look at the Arctic Circle Aurora Fly/Drive Adventure-Southbound.  Please ask our reservation agents if you would like more information.
