Many of Alaska’s small communities are only accessible by dirt road or can only be reached by small plane, boat, or snow machine. In addition to the transportation challenges, a lack of visitor services makes it difficult to see or do much in these villages without an introduction.
Our Undiscovered Arctic Adventures provide you with an opportunity to visit some of these remote villages. They are not created experiences and can vary from trip to trip depending on what is happening in the community during your visit. If you are looking for an authentic experience with a local resident in their home community, then one of these adventures is the way to go.
